KINDER-GARDEN LEARNING CENTER & CHILDCARE, INC. RETAINS NATIONAL NAEYC ACCREDITATION |
| Kinder-Garden Learning Center & Childcare located in Meriden, CT has, once again, earned accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) – the nation’s leading organization of early childhood professionals.
“We are very proud to be recognized by NAEYC for our commitment to reaching the highest professional standards in early childhood education,” said Maria Neubauer, Director. “NAEYC Accreditation lets families in our community know that children in our program are getting the best care and early learning experiences possible.” Kinder-Garden Learning Center captures the essence of the home setting for children. Our purpose is to provide children with the same type and quality of experiences that they have at home and to enhance those experiences by capitalizing on the child’s remarkable receptivity to new learning. Each child’s uniqueness is taken into consideration as he/she is nurtured and stimulated to grow, love and learn. To earn NAEYC Accreditation, Kinder-Garden Learning Center went through an extensive Self-Study process, measuring the program and its services against the 10 NAEYC Early Childhood Program Standards and more than 400 related Accreditation Criteria. The program received NAEYC Accreditation after a site visit by NAEYC Assessors to ensure that the program meets each of the ten program standards. In the 23 years since NAEYC Accreditation was established, it has become a widely recognized sign of high-quality early childhood education. Almost 8,000 programs, serving one million young children, are currently accredited by NAEYC – approximately 8 percent of all preschools and other early childhood programs. “The NAEYC Accreditation system raises the bar for preschools, child care centers and other early childhood programs,” said Mark Ginsberg, Ph.D., executive director of NAEYC. “Kinder-Garden Learning Center’s NAEYC Accreditation is a sign that they are a leader in a national effort to invest in high-quality early childhood education, and to help give all children a better start.” The NAEYC Accreditation system has set voluntary professional standards for programs for young children since 1985. NAEYC is committed to utilizing the newest studies and analysis on positive child outcomes to ensure young children continue receiving the highest-quality care and education possible. The NAEYC Accreditation system was created to set professional standards for early childhood education, and to help families identify high-quality preschools, child care centers and other early education programs. To earn NAEYC Accreditation, a program must meet each of the 10 NAEYC Early Childhood Program Standards. Programs are accredited by NAEYC for a five-year period. We invite families to visit our center and compare what we have to offer with other locals preschools. We have discovered that OUR families are what make Kinder-Garden Learning Center such a wonderful place for children. Call Maria at (203) 686-1586 to schedule a visit. |

KINDER-GARDEN LEARNING CENTER & CHILDCARE ACCREDITED BY N.A.E.Y.C. |
(Joins National Movement to Improve Early Childhood Education) |
| Kinder-Garden Learning Center & Childcare (KGLC) has earned accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children – the nation’s leading organization of early childhood professionals.
“We’re very excited that KGLC has received such a distinguished honor and we’re overjoyed that our staff has finally received the recognition they so greatly deserve,” said Maria Neubauer, director of Kinder-Garden Learning Center. “NAEYC Accreditation lets families in our community know that children in our program are getting the best care and early learning experiences.” Kinder-Garden Learning Center was founded in 1995 by Maria Neubauer after a long and exhaustive search to find childcare for her first child. “I was not satisfied with the options available to working parents and wanted to find a place that stressed a family environment with early learning and social skills for the children. When I could not find what I was looking for, my husband convinced me to create a place for families with a similar ideology”, said Mrs. Neubauer. KGLC is located at 20 South Broad Terrace in Meriden, CT. |
